Chris Lintott in 3D?

Post by rwilkinson » Thu Oct 24, 2019 8:04 pm

At the start of next month Professor Chris is presenting a couple of lectures at the Alder Observatory, Chicago.
“A Universe of Surprises,” Chris and Dr. Laura Trouille will share stories of unexpected discoveries that Zooniverse community have made over the years. Such as exotic planets around distant stars, and Boyajian’s star, the most mysterious star in our galaxy. You’ll be able to see how your contributions directly impact the field of astronomy and further the exploration of our Universe.
If you don't happen to be in Chicago, you can follow it on YouTube:
The second lecture will be "live" at 6pm on 2nd November, but I expect that you could review the previous day's one earlier?

And if you're into Google Cardboard (Virtual Reality on a makeshift headset), the talks will be streamed there too!
