I'm surprised to see a built-in focus-motor on such an instrument: it could be very handy for planetary webcam imaging (with a Barlow-lens or using eyepiece projection for extra magnification). But you'd definitely need to transplant the 'scope onto a more sturdy mount!

:idea: And that motorised EQ1 mount could still be useful as a platform for wide-angle DSLR work - Dean and I have used a similar system in the past.
