nebula

this is my attempt to capture great nebula in orion, the setting are F5, Iso 16000 F/L 80mm
using 30 lights, 15darks & 15bias frames

Andy, I wonder what length of exposures you used, and was your camera on a tracking mount or a fixed tripod? And did you save and process your images in Canon RAW (.CR2) format or as JPEGs?

they were tiff files & the exposure time was 3.2 secs,just had to check, I changed all the files to tiff's to put them through dss because if i did them as raw files they came out as a long narrow portrait picture other than a L/scape with tiff's, but speaking to dave walker on tues he advised me to down load version 3.3.3.
the shot were taken just on a tripod from the b yard

thanks for the links to the pdf's will have a read, I aready have iris downloaded but i just look at it then turn it off so hopefully this will get me going thanks once again
