Well Ross, as I said you could set up a mystery object weekly or monthly giving basic information and see if members can work it out.

Well then it must be Ceres.
Dwarf planet Ceres is the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and the only dwarf planet located in the inner solar system. (Google)
If I'm right you've started something which is a detective search.

Ross, the Heavens Above website currently shows this comet to be in Pegasus. When I enter the name in the search box in Stellarium it does not recognise it. Is this maybe because Stellarium database is not up to date.

Bill,
Have downloaded Stellarium 14.1B, I think the B stands for Beta . At the moment I'm getting to grips with windows 10 which has in my opinion changed a few settings.

Have updated Stellarium to latest version on a laptop running windows 10. I cannot alter any parameters because I cannot view the screens which open up on the bottom and left side. I believe that the graphic card drivers may be the problem Any ideas would be welcome. If not possible to update is the...
