Re: Bolton School Visit -- 9th May -- Mercury Transit

Certainly not to be missed and thanks to all off those for coming. Again another good turn out from members and positive feedback from the staff of Bolton School.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures, but will anyone get the end of it!

Re: Workshop session on 5-Apr

M97 and M42

Otherwise known as the Owl Nebula I was able to image it using the C11 and Atik infinity. This is a magnitude 8 object and needed 30 Second exposure before I could even see anything and even then had to wait for a few images to stack. Am also getting use to placing the image on full screen but nervo...

Re: Bulletin Board colours

Eb appreciate what you are saying and I'll give it some thought, but in the mean time I'm sure you know what colour a cup of tea should look like. :)

So your're on Tea Duty 1st March!

Imaging M1 -- Atik Infinity

Had a go last night with the Atik Camera and C11 again with 15 Second exposures. Struggled as my original settings that I was using to help optimise the streaming videos seems to off disappeared  but still managed to get M1 and the image improves over time. Apologies its not in the middle but ...
