M97 and M42

Otherwise known as the Owl Nebula I was able to image it using the C11 and Atik infinity. This is a magnitude 8 object and needed 30 Second exposure before I could even see anything and even then had to wait for a few images to stack. Were you using the focal-reducer and UHC filter?
Yes I did, I removed the IR filter and replaced it with the UHC

Imaging M1 -- Atik Infinity

Had a go last night with the Atik Camera and C11 again with 15 Second exposures. Struggled as my original settings that I was using to help optimise the streaming videos seems to off disappeared :roll: but still managed to get M1 and the image improves over time. in the software manual have you looked at appendix A, last pages this tells you how to set it up for the first time for you tube Yes I did. The Software basically crashes after authenticating when you hit the broadcast button. Seems to do it for Windows 7 and Vista. At the moment have Atik on the c...
